Impressive stuff as always, Vlad! One thing you might change is the mizzen stay. We can see the nail holes in the mast for it, and it meets the mast about 2 meters above the deck rather than low down. It also needs to come in offset to port slightly, in order to allow the main halliard to clear it. I think your reconstruction of two four-hole deadeyes is probably correct. Fred Hi Fred, Is the 1/10 model incorrect? Looks to me like they rigged the mizzen stay starboard of the main halliard? Thanks, Peter

Hej Vlad,
The museum model is probably incorrect, we believe the mizzen stay comes to the port side of the mast, since the main topsail halliard goes to starboard.

Hi Vlad,
Very nice! Anchors are looking great. Good work. I think the real Vasa only had one fish davit?
Cheers, Peter

Hi Peter! It was the only one fish davit. Two fish davit were set for beauty.
Cheers, Vlad.

Hi Vlad, enjoying watching you work!
One detail you might want to know about for your yards is the lack of a shoulder at the end. We have four preserved yards, and all are simply tapered at the end, without a step or shoulder as in later practice. There may have been cleats nailed in place to act as a stop for the earrings and other rigging fitted to the yardarms, possibly on the larger yards.
