Hello, I finished a second carved bed for my son. It is mostly in basswood with some walnut and is very sturdy.

Hi Jules!
I don't keep track of hours, but it took me about 6 months from start to finish. This seems to be a normal amount of time to build one of these pieces of carved furniture. At least for me.
Cheers! Clayton

Hi Clayton,
this is a wonderful gift for Magnus. I like the asymmetric design of the bed. Your carvings are highly professional!

Thanks! I am very happy with it. My son's first reaction was near speechlessness. All he could say was "Wow!"
