Ah. I guess not then! I just built the flat bottom like the original, attached the stem and sternpost, framed it and planked it, then added internal details. The skeg as a separate piece did not find its way to my model. Clayton Hi Clayton, Fair enough, They didn't attach it on the original either. Display problems. :-) What did you do at the stem? Did you attach the 1 m piece there? The stem end with quite a notch if you don't. This was the feature that caused me to chase up this first time back in July 2009. (-Time flies. :-) ) You mentioned you did not install a rudder, did you have plans for one? I remember sketching on one, but the source I could find was some 100 years too modern (Thomas Rajalin:1730 <-Extremely long title available on request :-)> Contains rules for sizing rudder and mentions 'esping', but not much detail beyond that. How about leeboards? Any thought on adding leeboards? Cheers, Peter
