Hi folks.
Now that I learned that the cannon carriages was black(ish) I wonder if the wheels were black?
Regards
Eric

Hi Eric, The trucks (wheels) were no doubt black as well, except the paint would wear off the tread pretty quickly, so the edges may or may not have been painted.

Thank you Fred. By the way, Could you be so kind as to take a look at parts P3 (DeAgostini) when you get some time and see if they look like this picture? Kind regards Eric

Hi Eric,
My parts look like yours, with small tabs on one end and large tabs on the other. The instructions show these parts with equal-sized tabs, which is a bit of a head-scratcher, but will have to check the slots into which they are supposed to mate. I also checked the frame 8-9-10 issue, and I see what you mean, you cannot simply swap them, since the slots are of different depths. Wonder what is going on here, and how much work the fix is.

hello Fred,
the frames that P3 slots into are made for the larger tabs. No real problem as one can just mount a small strip of wood on the frame for support. Still worry about frame 9 though. I have not heard from manufacturers yet but planking is still some months away. I'll give them a couple more weeks to give me some feedback.
Kind regards
Eric
